A fire at a lake house belonging to the grandfather of Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel is under investigation by authorities in east Texas.
The Lake Tyler house was destroyed by the blaze at around 1:30 a.m. CDT Wednesday morning, Smith County Fire Marshal Jay Brooks told WFAA.com. The home, in Whitehouse, Tex., was unoccupied at the time of the fire and Brooks labeled it as suspicious, saying an investigation would be conducted. The State Fire Marshals office is providing arson investigators, the Dallas Morning News reported.
